Section 3 of Chapter 1: The necessity of having HOPE

Delivered to an unpredictable nature, a mental ( psichological ) protection was necessary in order to let hunters to continue to go out from the security of the shelter and try to get some food.
This is called hope.
In other words: We hope that what did happen to our friends will not happen to us.
We strongly need hope, and this need can be exploited by some people in order to take control over other persons. This explain the success of so many sects and so many followers of so called gurus. The traditional religions are also based on the hope for live after death.
Unfortunately mankind often refuse to accept the crude reality of the life in our universe.
